Hello, I’m David, a contemporary artist living just outside of New York City in Rye, New York.
In addition to my passion for painting, I also balance a career in the film industry. So, if I’m not off somewhere in the world shooting, I can most likely be found working in my studio.
I love the creative process, both in film and the art world. I find both as invigorating as they are liberating.
I approach every project with the mindset of captivating and bringing thoughts, ideas and inspirations to life by creating an emotional connection between viewer and art form.
It could be through thought, a memory, or a simple feeling of happiness. Each connection is different for each viewer.
The time that I spend on each piece creates a connection between myself and that piece. A bond that I never forget.
For me, one of the most fulfilling parts of the process is when one of my pieces finds a home. There’s always a bit of separation anxiety seeing a piece go, but knowing that it has found a place where it can be viewed and enjoyed for years to come gives me solace.
Today, I’m proud to say that my work hangs in scores of various private collector’s homes and businesses across the country.
